Under clear skies, wind from the southeast at two mph, with the temperature 28 degrees.

"Likewise the Spirit also helped our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groaning which can not be uttered." (Romans 8:26)

It seems to me this morning as I read this verse that by using the word likewise as the first word in this verse that Paul is saying, "Just as we have hope that is unseen likewise the Spirit helped our infirmities.." You see since we have hope that is not seen, we do not know what to pray for as we ought yet that hope is still there. But the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. The Spirit of God in you the hope of glory knows we stand in need of and intercedes to the Father for us.
