Sunday, December the 3rd, 2006

Under clear skies, wind from the north at nine mph, with the temperature at 30 degrees.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:14)

There seems to be many that would put a condition upon this verse and make man active in it, but the import of the verse is put upon the action of God. It is the Spirit of God that leads. The other way around would have man leading the Spirit of God. The thought this morning to me is that when we see someone that is led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God. They will not become sons of God, but are the sons of God.
