Under cloudy skies, wind from the south at five mph, with the temperature at seventy-six degrees.

"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man." (John 5:26-27)

I have read this verse for years, preached all around it and just noticed a few minutes ago how important and how vital this verse is to us being born again and also for the resurrection of our bodies. If the Father has life in himself, and has given to the Son to have life in himself, then the Son has the authority to execute judgment as he stood our judgment and also has the authority to give life to the dead. You see this is also teaching that Jesus is all God and is all man. He is not part God and part man, but he is all of both. Jesus says; I am the way, the truth, and the life.
