"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in he world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, SENT.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." (John 9:4-7)

Yesterday I dealt mostly with what we think of certain situations trying to place the blame of it on what he are she might have done or what the parents might have done that caused this situation. Yet in this instance it was neither the one that was born blind nor the parents that had sinned but to bring forth the glory of God to be manifested showing the power of God. We have preached, we have read in the scriptures the power in the voice of God. Yet here we read of Jesus spitting unto the ground and made clay of the spittle and anointed the eyes of the blind man. The Lord had already cursed the earth that it might bring forth thorns and thistles. Now is taking this same cursed earth to anoint the eyes of the blind man and tells him to go wash at the pool of Siloam and when he returned he was able to see clearly. "The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?" Is this the one that the man Jesus made clay from his own spittle and anointed this man`s eyes and now he sees. There is not only power in the voice of the Lord,. but has healing power in the things that were cursed. There is more power in the spit of the holy one, than all the armies of the world.
